PPD is the field-execution side of the business. It helps farmers deal with wet spots, awkward corners, obstacle-heavy areas, and other acres where timing, access, and crop protection matter.
Payment terms: Net-30 from invoice date. 25% deposit required on jobs over $500. Other aerial field-support services available as quoted.

Precision application of permitted products on hard-to-reach, awkward, or time-sensitive acres where a drone is a better fit than traditional equipment. Every spray job starts with an empty aircraft — product is loaded at the field by the farmer, rinsing completed on site.

Aerial imagery and crop health mapping processed through Pix4Dfields to identify variability, stress, emergence gaps, and potential damage across your fields. Maps sync directly to your John Deere Operations Center.

Thermal imaging using the Zenmuse H30T camera on the Matrice 400 to identify surface temperature variability, wet areas, moisture patterns, drainage concerns, and other field inconsistencies not visible to the naked eye.

Aerial spreading services priced by material, rate, and field conditions. Ideal for areas where ground equipment access is limited or timing is critical.

High-definition aerial imagery captured with the Zenmuse P1 (45 MP) mounted on the Matrice 400 to detect and map rocks, obstacles, and field hazards before seeding or harvest. PPD operates as a TerraClear pilot, delivering AI-processed rock maps with size, location, and density data.
It's a fair question. Free satellite imagery from tools like Google Earth or Climate FieldView gives you a picture from space. PPD gives you actionable, field-ready data processed through Pix4Dfields and delivered straight into your John Deere Operations Center. Here's what that difference actually looks like.
| Feature | Free Satellite Imagery | PPD + Pix4Dfields |
|---|---|---|
| Image Resolution | 10–30 m/pixel (Sentinel-2, Landsat) | 1–3 cm/pixel (drone-captured) |
| Update Frequency | Every 5–16 days (weather dependent, often cloud-blocked) | On-demand — fly when you need it |
| Processing & Analysis | Raw imagery — you interpret it yourself | Pix4Dfields processing with vegetation indices, zonation, and prescriptions |
| Prescription Maps | Not available | Variable rate application (VRA) prescriptions exported directly |
| John Deere Integration | Manual upload of raw files (if compatible) | Direct sync to JD Operations Center — boundaries, maps, and prescriptions |
| Field-Level Detail | Can miss within-field variability at coarse resolution | Individual plant-level stress, emergence gaps, wet spots visible |
| Thermal & Moisture | Not available from free satellite sources | H30T thermal camera identifies drainage, moisture patterns, and temperature variability |
| Support & Interpretation | None — figure it out yourself | Brandon walks you through the data and helps you act on it |

Bottom line: Free tools show you a blurry picture from space. PPD flies your field at 1–3 cm resolution, processes it through Pix4Dfields, and delivers prescription-ready maps straight into your John Deere Operations Center — with support to help you act on it.
You will have a local partner who helps you handle hard-to-reach acres, improve precision where drone services are a good fit, and keep your farm records and field data more organized. No unnecessary complexity. No runaround. Just practical service, clear communication, and support you can actually use.
One operator, one relationship. You deal directly with Brandon — not a call center, not a rotating crew. Local to southern Saskatchewan and invested in your success.
We solve real farm problems — wet spots, awkward corners, messy data. No overselling, no unnecessary technology. Just tools and services that deliver results.
PPD handles field execution. PPAT handles setup, syncing, cleanup, Operations Center support, yield map cleaning, and practical data organization. Together, they cover both sides of precision agriculture.
Many farms already have precision-ag equipment and data. We help you get more value from the technology you've already invested in, not sell you more.
Built on real-world agriculture experience, not a tech startup. We understand the pressures of the season, the importance of timing, and what actually matters in the field.
Pre-flight checklist every mission. GPS flight logs, weather conditions, product rates, and spray calibration documented before each season. Transport Canada licensed with Complex Operations Certification.
A practical seasonal support program for farms that want faster response on problem acres, practical drone support where ground equipment is less efficient, cleaner setup and more usable records, and one local contact for both drone field work and precision-ag support.
Practical drone support where ground equipment is less efficient — wet spots, awkward corners, and time-sensitive windows.
Less wasted time fighting equipment, poor syncing, and messy data. Get more value from the technology you already own.
Both drone field work and precision-ag support through a single relationship. No call centers, no rotating crews.
If we do not deliver the agreed service to a professional standard, or fail to complete the booked scope within the practical operating window — subject to weather, safety, legal label requirements, site readiness, and product availability — we will make it right through one of the following:
Clear communication. Fair follow-through.
We review your target acres, problem areas, and current setup before work starts. We tell you honestly where drone services or data support make the most sense first.
Before the season gets busy, we review field names, boundaries, guidance lines, and basic sync issues so your setup is cleaner and easier to trust.
Pre-booked clients receive scheduling preference ahead of standard-booking work when operating windows open, subject to weather, safety, field readiness, and logistics.
This program is built for producers who want practical help — not just another login or another inspection.
We intentionally limit the number of Priority Acre & Data Support clients each season. That is not fake scarcity — that is how service quality is protected. Spray windows are short, weather compresses demand, setup and cleanup work take real time, and fast local response only works when workload stays controlled.
Once priority capacity is full, additional work moves to standard scheduling.
Good service spreads by word of mouth — and we want to reward that. Refer a neighbour or fellow producer to Prairie Precision, and when they book their first service, you both benefit.
$50 credit toward your next service or a free pre-season data check
$50 off their first booking plus a free 15-minute consultation call
No limit on referrals. Credits applied after the referred client’s first completed service. Mention your referrer’s name when booking.

Prairie Precision Drones is owned and operated by Brandon Gosling out of Ogema, Saskatchewan. The business is built around a practical farm problem: some acres are harder to work properly than others, and a lot of farm data is either messy, underused, or not set up in a way that produces useful results.
With more than seven years of direct precision-ag workflow experience, combined with a farm background rooted in real-world agriculture, PPD exists to help farmers get more value from the equipment and technology they already own.
PPD works alongside Prairie Precision Ag Tech (PPAT), a separate support business that handles setup, syncing, guidance cleanup, Operations Center support, yield data cleanup, and practical field-data organization. Together, the offer is simple: better support on hard acres, cleaner records behind the scenes, and faster practical response when timing matters.
The business is built as a staged rollout: crop health mapping and imagery start immediately with the Mavic 3 Multispectral already in place, while spraying, spreading, thermal, and TerraClear obstacle mapping capacity are added as the T100, Matrice 400, and spray trailer build are completed.

Spring 2026 outlook: Official sources show the region entered spring with lingering southern moisture deficits, but April snow improved runoff and surface moisture conditions in parts of Saskatchewan. WSA reports most major southern reservoirs are at or above normal levels. For producers, that means better short-term spring potential than the winter outlook suggested, but continued importance of timely rains and field-level monitoring.
